Both semi-final series between SB-Pro and Classic and SSRA and PSS stand at 1-1 after two games played. The teams will take on each other on Wednesday for the third time.
In their opener, Classic shocked reigning champions SB-Pro away in Nurmijärvi with a 3-2 win after being ahead 3-0 after the first period. SB-Pro got close but could not beat goalie Elsi Kangasharju, who had a big game, for the third time. In Tampere, though, SB-Pro came back strong beating Classic 4-2.
SSRA were able to start with a 3-2 home win against PSS thanks to a strong night by their Swiss goalie Flavia Rentsch. Yesterday in Porvoo, Elli Kylmäluoma scored the opening goal for SSRA but after that it was all PSS who ended their night with a 6-1 victory. Alisa Kettunen scored twice for PSS.
