The playoffs have started with a bang, as TPS and FBC Loisto won their first two games against Koovee and Eräviikingit.
First win did not come easy for TPS, but goalie Maria Viitala played an amazing game and secured a 5-3 win for the home team. In Tampere, however, Emilia and Olivia Pietilä led TPS to a clear 12-4 win.
FBC Loisto and Eräviikingit have played two even quality games, in which FBC Loisto has been a little sharper. In Turku, Ulla Valtonen scored in overtime with a spectacular solo-performance and in Helsinki Loisto made a recovery form being down 0-3 to winning the game 5-3 with Laura Pakarinen scoring four times.
SaiPa took their first win in the playoffs against Classic, but Classic ”Family” took revenge in Lappeenranta by winning 8-1.
SB-Pro and SSRA have offered thrilling entertainment as their both encounters have ended in overtime. Sanni Uimarihuhta scored the winning goal for SSRA in Klaukkala, but in the next game Jenni Torkki tied the wins to 1-1.
In F-liiga qualifiers Welhot and O2-Jyväskylä are in the lead by 2-0 wins against Blue Fox and FB Factor. Pirkat is also currently leading SBS Wirmo. Jokerit and Northern Stars are tied 1-1 as Northern Stars won the last game in overtime.
