Current champion TPS had their first loss of the season in F-liiga women’s series, as Classic won the first final game with goals 4-5. Classic turned the game to it’s advantage in the second period.
TPS was in the lead after first period with Sofia Leino’s goal, and Eerika Koski grew the numbers to 2-0 in the beginning of the second. The next goals went to Classic, orchestrated by Suvi Hämäläinen and Veera Vilenius. Furthermore, Johanna Homi and Sofia Lahti continued the streak, taking Classic to 2-4 lead. Milla Granlund scored for TPS in the beginning of third period, but soon Olivia Pietilä directed the ball to their own goal – bringing the score to 3-5 for Classic. Veera Kuosmanen scored for TPS once more six minutes before the end, but the end-score remained 4-5.
The second final is played in Lempäälä on Friday at 14:00.
