TPS took their first win in the finals (5-7), and the wins are now 3-1 for Classic. The 5th final will be played in Kupittaa, Turku, on Wednesday at 18:30.
The game had a dramatic start as TPS celebrated a goal, but was challenged by Classic. After a video-inspection from the referees, the verdict was: no goal. Lotta Purhonen stole the ball mid-field from TPS and took Classic to the lead 1-0. Sofia Leino tied the game in the final minute of the first period, but Natalia Pitkäkangas scored for Classic as well before the break.
Johanna Homi took Classic to 3-1 lead in the beginning of the second period, but TPS was the next to score. First Sofia Leino and within 30 seconds Eerika Koski tied the game. Natalia Pitkäkangas made it to 4-3 for Classic once more, but Olivia Pietilä soon tied the game again and Emilia Pietilä led TPS to the lead for the first time in the game.
Third period was not easy for Classic as TPS grew their lead. Jenna Saario scored the numbers to 4-6 and Sofia Leino completed her hat-trick of the game after a skillful assist from Milla Granlund. Johanna Homi scored for Classic once more making it to 5-7, but TPS was able to control the rest of the game.
