Tiikerit from Vantaa have their squad ready for the upcoming F-Liiga season. Last season was their first in the highest league and they were able to avoid qualification with a two-point margin topping their regular season with an overtime victory against TPS.
Tiikerit’s top new signings are defenseman Janne Salonen from EräViikingit and Teemu Suomalainen from Swiss Kloten-Dietlikon Jets. Further new faces in the line-up are goalie Jens Beijar, Teemu Kantanen, Niklas Laurila, Kalle Laakso who returns from Switzerland and own product Emil Kallio from Tiikerit Juniors.
“We have intentionally built a smaller squad than last year but with excellent alternatives for each position”, head coach Miro Mäkelä says. “We were able to sign both players who have already established themselves in the highest level and ambitious young players wanting to take further steps in their careers”.
