An experienced player makes his debut in F-Liiga as newcomers Nurmon Jymy captain Hannu Palomäki has extended his contract. The 31-year old forward has played 133 Divari (second highest league) games for SB Vaasa and Nurmon Jymy.
“It is great to see “Palle” continue his career”, head coach Jarmo Eteläaho says. “He has been a leader in the squad team for several seasons and he is going to be an important part of next season’s team.”
“Our promotion to F-Liiga gave me the motivation to carry on playing”, Hannu Palomäki says. “It feels great to get to play on even higher level and to get to take on our local opponents SPV. It is going to be nice to see how many spectators our F-Liiga games are going to draw.”
