Week 7: FBC Turku introduced F-liiga to Forssa, Classic to the win

Classic remains undefeated after winning seventh game in a row. FBC Turku organized the game against Classic in Forssa, thereby introducing F-liiga to new audiences. Nokian KrP and Oilers have both lost two previous rounds which strengthens Classic’s ranking in the lead.

Classic is currently leading the cup-champion KrP by eight points, noting that KrP has three less games played. SPV is also in a winning-streak, as it has won six out of seven matches, lastly taking the points from current champions, Oilers, in the Valentine’s Day -match.

Westend Indians, who lost the final in Kouvolan Lakritsi Finnish Cup to Nokian KrP, took revenge in the same arena against Nokia after a colourful match, winning by goals 10-12.

Two teams currently at the qualifier standings at the bottom are OLS and LASB. OLS has lost six subsequent games, but gained two points from Jymy and Eräviikingit as they won at penalty shots and overtime. LASB on the other hand took a surprising win from Happee, but suffered losses against Classic and KrP, leaving LASB keeping the tail in the league.
