Semifinals in F-liiga men’s series continued on Saturday, as Oilers defeated Indians with clear numbers 6-2. The wins are now tied 1-1, and the third encounter will be played on Tuesday.
Rasmus Pasanen scored Indians to the lead at the end of first period, but the reigning champion Oilers turned the game around in the second. Markus Salmi tied the game in power-play and soon Heikki Iiskola scored Oilers to the lead. There were no more goals until the final 10 minutes, when Markus Markkola scored a rebound form the air. Indians took the goalie Joonas Kaltianen out and Tatu Havula managed to score a second goal, but it was not enough to win the game. Justus Kainulainen, Aaro Astala and Jesper Silvonen finished the end numbers into an empty net.
