Tonight Nokian KrP’s Henri Johansson became the first player ever to score 700 F-liiga goals regular season and play-offs combined as he gave his team a 3–1 lead against EräViikingit in the second period.
Halfway into the secod period, defender Miska Mäkinen found Joona Rantala in front of the net where Rantala held his fire and gave the ball to Johansson who slammed it in. Johansson has now got 700 goals, 517 assists and 1,217 points.
Nokian KrP’s night took a turn into worse in the final 10 minutes of the game, though, as EräViikingit came back from 2-4 to win 5-4 after three goals and two assists by veteran center Tommi Rosendahl.
