F-liiga Weekend Highlights – Sami Koski to 900 points, Classic to 7 wins in a row, Oilers to second place

Sami Koski of SPV became the second player to reach 900 points in his career. SPV had all in all strong weekend with two victories.

Koski has scored total 357+543 in the 460 matches played during the regular seasons in Salibandyliiga and now F-liiga. Only Henri Johansson (Nokian KrP) is higher than Koski on the all-time score board with 1158 points.

Classic to 7th win, Oilers to second place 

The current leader of F-liiga Classic made its way to the 7th win in a row as it won on Saturday OLS from Oulu in Bläk Boks with the final score 7-5 and on Sunday FBC Turku in Kupittaa 10-6.

Teams from Espoo, Oilers and Indians, were victorious in their home fields on Friday night when Oilers won the match against the Finnish Champion TPS and Indians won LASB which took them to F-liiga’s first place after Friday. On Sunday, Oilers was strong against Nurmon Jymy and made its way to the second place as Indians’ trip to South Ostrobothnia wasn’t as successful and the three points stayed in Seinäjoki.
