EräViikingit add one more interesting name in their women’s F-liiga roster as Vladka Maderova joins the team from Czech SC Vitkovice on a one-year contract.
The 19-year old center spent her first two weeks in Finland in COVID-19 quarantine. Since then, she has trained with the team playing two preseason games as well.
“I always want to try new things like this extended visit to Finland”, Vladka Maderova says on EräViikingit webpage. “I already tried sauna and soon it will be time for the Finnish long, dark winter that everyone has warned me about.”
Vladka Maderova is not the first Czech star playing for Mosahalli audience as in 2005-2006 national team forward Denisa Billa played 19 games for EräViikingit predecessor Tapanilan Erä III scoring 11 goals and three assists.
